What RAJA89 is
RAJA89 exists for one purpose: to publish technology and digital literacy material that a beginner can actually run, not merely read.
Most people who give up on learning technology do not give up because they are incapable. They give up because the material is scattered, assumes knowledge nobody explained, or stops halfway. There are tutorials that paste code without saying why it works, courses that jump straight to an advanced level, and terminology used for pages before anyone defines it.
Our approach is shaped by that:
- We start from the reason, not the command. Every step explains why it exists, so you can adapt when your machine differs from the example.
- We state the limits. If a method only works on a particular version, or fails under a particular condition, that appears in the same place as the method rather than in a footnote nobody reads.
- We define terms on first use. Jargon is sometimes unavoidable, but undefined jargon is a choice.
If you want to know who writes and answers for this material, that is on the About page. If you came for something specific, go straight to the catalogue.
What is available
Four things, each with its own page so nothing has to be guessed.
- Catalogue Tutorials and courses The topics available, arranged from beginner upward, with guidance on who should start where. Open the catalogue →
- Free tools Tools that work without an account Small utilities you can use immediately. The page explains how each one works and what data it deliberately does not store. See the tools →
- Community Where questions get answered The rules, how to ask so you get a useful answer quickly, and what we do not tolerate. About the community →
- Support Contact and the formal bits How to reach us, what we can help with, what we cannot, and where our responsibility stops. Open support →
How the learning is arranged
We do not lock you into a sequence, and we do not scatter material at random either. What we provide is a sensible path with a clear entry point for someone starting from nothing.
If you are starting from zero
- Learn the vocabulary first. Half of all confusion in technology comes from undefined terms, not from material that is too difficult.
- Pick one path, not five. Starting five topics at once is the most common way to finish none of them. One completed path beats five abandoned ones.
- Run things, do not just read. Technology only sticks when you execute it, including when it fails. A first failure is usually a configuration problem, not evidence that you are unsuited to the subject.
- Move on only when the path is finished. After that, the second path will feel considerably faster.
If you already have a foundation
You can go straight to what you need. One thing is routinely skipped, though: security. Plenty of people learn enough to use something safely and never learn to protect it. We keep that material inside the paths rather than as a separate topic that is easy to skip.
One thing worth doing before anything else, whichever path you choose: turn on two-step verification for your primary email account. Losing access to that mailbox almost always means losing access to everything else, including your learning accounts. It takes a few minutes.
Our long-form guides (a separate site)
Some topics need more than one page, so we publish those as long-form guides on a separate educational site — a different domain, the same maintainer, and no advertising there either. We say so openly so you know exactly where the link goes.
The links above go to a different domain from this one.
What we hold ourselves to
Four commitments apply to every page here, and you are entitled to hold us to them.
| Commitment | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| No advertising in learning material | Steps are not interrupted by ad units, and there are no affiliate links inside a tutorial. If that ever changes, the disclosure appears at the link itself. |
| Limits are stated | If a method works only under certain conditions, the condition is named in the same section. We do not write "works 100%" about anything that depends on a version number. |
| Corrections are visible | When material is wrong or outdated we fix it and say what changed. We do not overwrite an error as though it never happened. |
| No promises of outcomes | We do not promise jobs, income or certification. The only thing we promise is material you can check. |
Questions we are asked most
Is RAJA89 free?
This site is free to read, with no advertising and no subscription. For tutorials and courses, the status of each item is stated openly on its own catalogue card. We do not use hidden paywalls: if something is paid, it says so before you start rather than halfway through.
Do I need an account to read?
No. Every page on this official site can be read without an account. Accounts are only relevant to community features and to saving learning progress, and that is explained on the community page.
Does RAJA89 issue certificates?
Not yet, and we will not claim a certificate before one exists. If certificates are introduced, the requirements, the assessment and the limits of what they mean will be stated on the relevant course page. We are not an accredited institution and we do not present our material as equivalent to formal education.
What language is the material in?
Our tutorials and courses are written in Indonesian. Our long-form technical guides are published in English on a separate educational site, because that material reaches a wider audience in English. This official site is available in both Indonesian and English.
Why are there two sites?
Because they do different jobs. This is the brand's official home: identity, catalogue, tools and community. The second site is the archive of long-form technical guides. Keeping them separate means the brand pages stay concise and the guides can be as deep as they need to be.
Does this site track me?
No. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts. There is no form that collects data and no visitor database. The only record is the request log the hosting provider keeps by default, under its own policy.
What if I find something that is wrong?
Tell us using the address on the support page. Name the page and the passage, and the source you are relying on. We check it, fix it, and say what changed.
Where to start
If you are unsure, this order makes sense for most people:
- Open the catalogue and choose the single path closest to what you need right now.
- Read About if you want to know who wrote the material. That is why we publish a name rather than only a logo.
- Use a free tool if one fits. None of them need an account.
- If something is unclear, ask in the community. A clearly written question is answered far faster.
If you only want one thing to try today: pick one item, run it until it works, then stop. Continue tomorrow. That looks slow and is the approach that most often succeeds.
About RAJA89, and who runs this site
RAJA89 is a technology education platform. The site you are reading is the brand's official home: where we explain who we are, what is available, how the community is run, and how to reach us.
We promise nothing we cannot demonstrate, and we publish nothing you cannot check. Where a page states a figure, a price or a commitment, that statement lives on the page itself — not only in an advertisement, and not only on a page that has since been deleted.
How this site is run
- No tracking. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts on this site. We collect nothing about you while you read.
- Reading needs no account. Every page on this site can be read without registering. There is no visitor database and no form on these pages that gathers data. An account is only needed for features that store something of yours; the registration page will be linked from the navigation once registration is actually open.
- No affiliate links. No link on these educational pages pays us a commission. If that changes, the change is disclosed where the link appears.
What we do not claim
- We are not an accredited institution. We do not issue diplomas and we do not present our material as equivalent to formal education.
- We do not promise outcomes. Learning technology takes time, and no platform can guarantee a job or an income.
- We do not replace professional help. For a legal or medical question, or a security incident that has already happened to your account, the body that can act is the authority — not us.
